♦ Synopsis :

For the birthday of her husband, Cynthia Monestier thinks of having found the gift ideal : an oil concession on the edges of Orénoque. However, her husband discovers quickly that it was deceived by a swindler. To remake this bad "investment", it hopes that her daughter will manage to convince very rich Antoine, who is interested much in it, to repurchase "fabulous" the concession. But for the greatest misfortune of her father, at the same time, Patricia recruited a false husband in order to get rid of her fortunate sighing…

• When the play at the origin of this film was assembled in 1952, it is Louis de Funès who held the role of the Master of hotel, here that of Christian Marin.
