Honest street pedlar, Prosper Bourrache is taken for a caïd by two gangsters : Mosquito and Gino, which involve it in the break-in of the private mansion of a maroon banker, Lafare. Prosper will have great difficulty to draw from this situation. It will make all the same stop the band of gangster and will allure the woman of the boss.
