Evanella, which holds the heading "Horoscope" of a large newspaper, and his Méristo brother, create with the assistance of a young journalist, Jean Lassère and the capital of their uncle Amédée, a "Office of the Predictions". Success being made wait, they succeeds in obtaining revelations on a tape of gangsters whom they publish like predictions. It is success and fortune. Jean marries the girl of the director of the newspaper and Evanella the director himself.
